SPRINGFIELD, IL

Christian from the WWF was a call-in guest on Ray Lytle's Morning Disaster, a morning radio show in Springfield, IL.

He talked about how him and Edge aren't really brothers (they grew up together in Toronto and roomed together in college and, according to Christian, fight like brothers), and he talked about how much in-ring time he spends outside the Raws and Smackdowns and such.

Christian was pretty much himself for most of the interview, which doesn't seem all that different from his current gimmick.

He talked about his days in the brood, and how that gimmick helped get him over, but that a change was necessary to take his career to the next level.

He talked about the Hardy Boyz, and how their first match kind of raised the bar, and how Edge/Christian trust them when they're in the ring because of all the time they've spent in the ring. He said that he's always surprised when Jeff Hardy gets up, because of all the awesome bumps that he takes. He also brought up the Devon Dudley fall at summerslam.

He said that he tries to avoid carbohydrates in his diet...

Christian did a short plug of Raw moving to TNN this coming Monday...

Christian answered a caller's question and said that he only has a learner's permit, and so he wasn't the driver who hit Austin. He said that they don't tell the wrestlers the outcomes to plots like this one, so he doesn't know who it will turn out to be. He later made a joke about only having a moped so he couldn't have been the one to hit him.

Christian on Russo--He was appreciative of the compliments that Russo gave them when he recently said that one good thing about WWF currently is their push of Edge/Christian.

Christian ended the show by plugging Raw again, and then he talked about his past weekend's shows in Moline, IL and Champaign, IL, and how he enjoyed making fun of the Illinois Fighting Illini.

Overall, it was a pretty cool interview....
