Trained by Ron Hutchinson & Sweet Daddy Siki
1998: Spent July 18th-25th AND August 15th-23rd at the Funking Dojo Training camp with future WWF superstars like Edge, Kurt Angle, Test, The Hardy Boyz & William Regal.
Trained at Sully's Gym in Toronto with Edge. Edge trained for a full year, and Christian for about nine months.

Indy Stats:
Edge (Sexon Hardcastle) a Christian (Christian Cage) formed a tag team called High Impact but later changed it to the Suicide Blondes.
In the summer of 1997, they wrestled in the Maritimes for Emile Dupre's Atlantic Grand Prix promotion, and feuded with The Super Models, Rick Martel and The Jackyl (Cyrus in ECW).
In December 1997, the Suicide Blondes captured the ICW Streetfight Tag Team title.
On May 3, 1998, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Copeland defeated Christian Cage.
On July 18, 1998, Christian defeated Glenn Osbourne in Newport, Delaware for the ECWA (East Coast Wrestling Association) title
On October 10, 1998, Christian Cage defeated Julio Sanchez for the ECWA title in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Christian held the title over a year before it was declared vacant due his WWF commitments.

* Parents Reaction to Jay Wanting to be a Wrestler: "If this is what you want to do, you should do it. Every crazy career decision I have made, they have backed me up. I used to tell my parents I was either going to be a pro hockey player or a pro wrestler, and they always told me that was great. I asked them once why they are so supportive, and they told me they didn't want me to be 40 and look back on my life with any regrets."
* Before Christian and Edge were in the WWF they were driving Adam's mom's car and spending more on gas money than the shows paid.
* If Jay wasn't a professional wrestler he said he would be either a physical therapist or a professional hockey player. He used to be a goalie in a junior league.
* Christian and Edge met in 5th grade. A friend gave Christian a ninja throwing star and he was like the only one in school wiht one so everyone thought it was cool and thats how he met Edge and they used to go out and throw it at trees.
* Every Sunday Christian would watch International wrestling on T.V.
* Every Wednesday Christian and Edge would race home from school to watch wrestling on TV.
