Many people would consider Edge to be the most enigmatic superstar in the Federation. Shrouded in mystery, little is known about this dynamic young superstar. The thing is, Edge is an open book when compared to his own tag team partner.

Christian may well be the most mysterious superstar to ever compete in the world of sports-entertainment. Think about it. What do any of us know about Christian? Sure, he's an amazing superstar (as evidenced by his performance in the ladder match at No Mercy), but we don't know anything about the person behind the sunglasses. He's only uttered a few words on Federation programming as opposed to Edge, who has become much more vocal of late.

The mystery surrounding Christian has only grown over the last year. When Christian first entered the Federation, he was placed firmly into Gangrel's shadow. Whereas the fanged one put on countless displays of personality, Christian was content to silently slip into the shadows. It was clear that he had an agenda, but nobody knew what that was.

When the Brood dissolved, he began to team with longtime partner Edge. Again, he was overshadowed, this time by the former Intercontinental Champion. Now, while Edge gets the title shots and T-shirts, Christian is again cloaked in darkness

and that should scare each and every Federation Superstar.

After all, it's always the quiet ones that wind up shocking the world. Whereas superstars like The Rock take pride in announcing their plans for the future, Christian has never gone that route. He could, at any moment, suddenly go off on his own and begin to wreck havoc in the Federation. Right now, Christian seems content to work alongside Edge, battling his way through the tag team ranks. He's facing off against some of the best competition the Federation can offer, and he's holding his own night after night.

Personally, I think he's preparing for a run on his own. The grueling matches against the Acolytes and the Hardys are training Christian, giving him the skills to work his way to the top. Before long, he'll be ready to take on the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and Mankind.

Mark my words Christian is one of the most talented superstars ever, and when he feels the time is right to step from the shadows, the world is going to take notice.

It's just a matter of time.
